Washington's Curtis Samuel (groin) without timetable
Washington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) doesn't have a timetable to return, head coach Ron Rivera said.
The Football Team activated Samuel from the reserve/COVID-19 list and placed him back on the PUP list with a groin injury he suffered in June. “There's no timetable for Curtis," Rivera said. "He's been in the system, he knows it. Yeah, you'd love for him to catch a few reps maybe in the last preseason game, but we're not going to rush him out there.” Adam Humphries, Kelvin Harmon, and Cam Sims could earn larger roles at the beginning of the season if Samuel's injury lingers. Per Fantasy Football Calculator, Samuel's current ADP is WR35 at 8.04 in 12-team PPR leagues.
Samuel is currently the WR44 in numberFire's preseason rankings for half-PPR formats with a projection of 67.4 receptions, 105.4 targets, 855.8 yards, and 4.99 touchdowns.
