Cowboys' Dak Prescott (shoulder) planning to play in preseason game against Houston
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (shoulder) is aiming to play in the team's preseason game, against the Houston Texans on August 21st.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Prescott said the plan is for him to undergo another MRI on his shoulder. He hopes that he can resume team drills on Monday, August 16th, and is planning to play against the Texans in 10 days. Barring a setback, this timeline would match the original recovery time given for Prescott when he suffered a muscle strain in his shoulder on July 28th and would have him ready to go for Dallas' season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 9th.
Prescott's Week 1 projection includes 301.8 passing yards, 1.6 touchdowns, 0.4 interceptions, and 20.8 FanDuel points. He is the QB5 in numberFire's preseason fantasy projections.
