Raiders' Bryan Edwards earning trust in red zone drills

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Bryan Edwards is playing in red zone drills with the first-team offense.

What It Means:

Per Fowler on recent red zone opportunities during training camp, "Carr has no issues throwing to Edwards' shoulders and letting him outmuscle the corner." After an impressive training camp, the 22-year old could start alongside Henry Ruggs instead of veteran John Brown. According to Fantasy Football Calculator in 12-team Point Per Reception leagues, Edwards' average draft position currently stands in the 14th round.

For the 2021 season, numberFire's models project Edwards to haul in 27.9 receptions for 364.2 yards and 1.9 touchdowns on 44.0 targets.
