Schefter: Steelers' Chase Claypool suffered "minor ankle sprain"
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool suffered a "minor ankle sprain" in practice Tuesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Claypool was helped off the field by trainers during practice, and there were concerns that he suffered a serious injury. Fortunately, it seems as though he got a break. Claypool "should be fine," per Schefter, which is backed up by the wideout tweeting "All is well" later in the evening. It's unclear how much time Claypool will miss, but it seems as though he should be safe for Week 1 barring a setback.
Our models currently project Claypool for 83.37 catches on 131.08 targets with 1,020.66 yards and 6.89 touchdowns this season.
