Arians: Giovani Bernard to be "major part" of Buccaneers' offense

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Giovani Bernard will see a sizable role with the team.

What It Means:

That's what head coach Bruce Arians told reporters Thursday. Bernard has been "more than pretty good" and will be a "major part" of the rushing attack. That seems to be suboptimal news for those that drafted Ronald Jones and Leonard Fournette, as it seems as three-man running-back-by-committee could be in play.

Our models currently project Bernard for 224.63 yards on 55.67 carries with 1.71 touchdowns. They also earmark him for 18.46 catches on 25.46 targets for 122.85 yards and 0.92 scores.
