Kyle Pitts receiving praise at Falcons' joint practices
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts is lighting up training camp during the team's joint practices.
The Falcons are practicing with the Miami Dolphins for the week, and he's getting rave reviews from his 'opponents.' ""He's a receiver, basically," said Dolphins safety Eric Rowe. "He's long. He can move. I know he's going to cause problems." The veteran defensive back's words echo what we've heard about the rookie for years - he's not your average tight end. His potential is tantalizing, the only question will be whether Arthur Smith gets him enough targets in the offense.
Our models currently project Pitts for 77.55 catches on 115.45 targets for 891.05 yards and 6.79 touchdowns this season.
