Panthers' Christian McCaffrey "hungry" and "ready to go"
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey is "hungry" and "ready to go" according to teammate Jermaine Carter.
Carter added that, "...he's explosive, he doesn't look like he's lost a step," following last year's injury-mired season. McCaffrey appears to be healthy heading into the 2021 season, but the team will likely keep their superstar in bubble wrap until Week 1.
McCaffrey is, predictably, numberFire's RB1 heading into the 2021 season. Our models project him to finish the year with 30 more fantasy points (334.9) than the RB2, with 91.3 catches for 687.2 yards and 4.5 scores on top of his 351.8 carries, 1,617.3 rushing yards, and 12.8 rushing touchdowns.
