Rams: Darrell Henderson still set for significant role
Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson is "still going to have a very big role," head coach Sean McVay said Thursday.
“Darrell’s still going to have a very big role," McVay said in regards to the Rams' acquisition of Sony Michel. "Doesn’t really change the outlook for him." It remains unclear what Henderson's role will be, but he's the favorite to lead the Rams' backfield in touches. The Rams face the Chicago Bears on Sunday night in Week 1.
Henderson is the RB25 in numberFire's Week 1 rankings and our models expect him and Michel to essentially split carries 12.6-12.3. Among the 76 running backs with at least 50 carries last season, Henderson ranked 27th in Rushing Net Expected Points per carry.
