Giants' Evan Engram in "gray area" for Week 1 availability
New York Giants tight end Evan Engram could miss Week 1's game against the Denver Broncos.
Engram suffered a calf injury in the team's final preseason game on Sunday, and as a result, he's in danger of not playing to start the 2021 campaign. Head coach Joe Judge called Engram's situation a "gray area," which means a final decision on his status may not come until a couple days before kickoff. Keep an eye on updates from practice over the next 10 days. Should Engram sit, Kyle Rudolph could become the top tight end option.
Our models currently project Engram for 3.5 catches with 36.3 yards, 0.2 touchdowns and 6.7 FanDuel points in Week 1.
