Washington's Curtis Samuel (groin) "looked good" in practice Monday
Washington Football Team wideout Curtis Samuel (groin) "looked good" in practice Monday according to head coach Ron Rivera.
Samuel, who missed virtually the entire offseason with both a groin injury and a stint on the reserve/COVID list, finally returned to practice Monday. There's concern about Samuel's health after dealing with such a prolonged groin injury, and his conditioning could be an issue as the team ramps up for Week 1.
If Samuel is limited for Week 1 (or misses the entire week), 2020 third-round pick Dyami Brown could get an extended look opposite Terry McLaurin at wide receiver. Brown had an impressive offseason according to local beat reporters, and showed well in the preseason. He has a $4,700 salary on FanDuel for the team's Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
