Lions' D'Andre Swift (groin) expected to have no limitations Sunday
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift is planning on having a full workload in the team's Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Running backs coach Duce Staley told reporters Thursday, "I don’t know how to take (a productive running back) off. I get caught up in the game, he’s going to get caught up in the game and every good player, every good running back that I know, anyway, once you start feeling it, you don’t want to pull him off. We can count the reps Monday." That would certainly make it seem that Swift's reps will not be monitored as the game goes on. That's great news for those that have rostered the second-year back, and it likely means second-stringer Jamaal Williams will have a smaller role than some anticipated.
Our models currently project Swift for 63.4 rushing yards, 26.2 receiving yards, 0.6 total touchdowns and 14.1 FanDuel points.
