Lions dismiss D'Andre Swift (groin) investigation rumors
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell dismissed social media rumors about running back D'Andre Swift (groin) being investigated by Philadelphia police for an alleged homicide.
What It Means:
"That's just internet rumors I don't feel I need to comment on right now," Campbell said. He replied "not to my knowledge" when asked if Swift is under investigation. Swift was slowed by a groin injury throughout August, but Lions running backs coach Duce Staley indicated that there will not be any workload limits in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.
