Bears' Darnell Mooney (back) expected to play in Week 1
Chicago Bears wideout Darnell Mooney (back) is expected to play in Week 1's game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Mooney, a popular sleeper pick at the receiver position in fantasy circles this offseason, was limited in the final week of training camp but was able to practice with the team on Friday. Even if he is a full go for tonight's game, he'll draw a tough matchup against the Rams' strong secondary.
Mooney is expected to fill the Bears' WR2 role behind Allen Robinson this season, a role that could yield fantasy value should the team make the change at quarterback to Justin Fields. As it currently stands, Mooney ranks as numberFire's WR64 for Week 1.
