Jared Goff nearly sparks all-time comeback for Rams in Week 1
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had an incredible showing in the first game with his new team.
The Lions fell behind the 49ers 38-10, and it seemed as though it would just be a blowout of a game. However, in the final 20 minutes, Goff sparked a massive comeback. While the Lions still lost, they got the score within 7 and had an onside kick opportunity in the closing moments to have a chance at tying or winning. It seems as though Goff may have a ton of garbage-time opportunities this season, given the Lions' defense.
Goff completed 38-of-57 passes for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interception. He also added 14 yards on the ground.
