Latavius Murray leads Ravens with 10 carries
Baltimore Ravens running back Latavius Murray rushed 10 times for 28 yards and a touchdown in Monday's Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Murray wound up out-carrying starter Ty'Son Williams 10-9, but the latter rushed for more than twice as many yards. The Ravens figure to use the two-back approach again in Week 2 versus the Kansas City Chiefs, though Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman could also be involved.
Murray scored 8.8 FanDuel points on Monday and he averaged the fifth-fewest Rushing Net Expected Points per carry out of the 49 backs with at least five attempts in Week 1. Williams ranked second-best in Rushing NEP per carry out of that same group. numberFire's models project Murray for 9.4 carries and Williams for 10.8 carries versus a Chiefs defense that allowed the most Rushing NEP per carry in Week 1.
