Vikings' Dalvin Cook (ankle) DNP on Wednesday
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (ankle) did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
Cook sat out the opening practice of Week 3 after an injury-plagued Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Cook was forced to the sideline multiple times with various injuries against Arizona, but returned each time and finished the game with 148 total yards on 24 touches. Asked about Cook's workload moving forward, Mike Zimmer said "Dalvin's a tough guy. If he can't play, then there's a reason why he's not playing. He makes us go, so...we'll continue to play him." A return to practice later in the week would be a reassuring sign, but unless Cook is inactive for Week 3, the Vikings seem committed to feeding him his normal number of touches against the Seattle Seahawks.
Cook's Week 3 projection includes 100.1 rushing yards, 35.2 receiving yards, 1.07 touchdowns, and 21.5 FanDuel points. His salary is $9,500.
