Broncos' K.J. Hamler done for year with torn ACL

Denver Broncos wide receiver K.J. Hamler tore his ACL in Week 3 and is out for the season, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.

What It Means:

Hamler suffered the injury in the first half of Sunday's win over the New York Jets. He caught one pass for 28 yards on three targets before leaving. Jerry Jeudy will miss at least one more week with an ankle injury, so Diontae Spencer could join Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick in three-wide sets against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.

Hamler has the highest average depth of target (19.6 yards) on the Broncos and Teddy Bridgewater has attempted the third-most deep passes this season. Sutton is second at 16.5 yards and no one else on the team is averaging more than 12.0 yards. Among Broncos wideouts with multiple targets, Patrick is leading the team with an average of 13.4 yards per target. Spencer has only been targeted once on 14 passing snaps this season.
