Bears' Justin Fields (knee) "should be good to go" for Week 6

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields hyperextended his knee in the team's Week 5 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, but "should be good to go" for Week 6's game against the Green Bay Packers.

What It Means:

Fields only missed two snaps with his knee injury and was able to play a full half of football with seemingly no issues after he returned, so he appears on track to play in Week 6. The Bears have yet to fully unleash their rookie quarterback, but Fields has shown flashes even with his extremely limited volume as a starter the past two weeks.

With the Bears able to completely stifle a once-feared Raiders offense, Fields only had to attempt 20 passes while the team's running backs handled 34 carries. He completed 12 of those for 111 yards and his first NFL touchdown pass, adding 4 yards on 3 rushes and losing 10 yards on 2 sacks. The Bears could ask more from Fields in Week 6 against a Packers defense allowing the eighth-fewest yards per play so far this season.
