Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) '50-50' to play for Panthers
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) is "50-50" to play Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, per head coach Matt Rhule.
Rhule said the same thing last week and McCaffrey wound up sitting out Sunday's game. McCaffrey was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, but this will be a situation to continue monitoring throughout the week. Chuba Hubbard would be the Panthers' lead back again in Week 6 if McCaffrey remains out.
numberFire's models project McCaffrey to return this week and score 20.9 FanDuel points. He is the RB2 in our Week 6 fantasy rankings and he has a $10,000 salary on FanDuel. The Vikings are 21st this season in FanDuel points allowed per game to the running back position.
