Melvin Gordon (hip) returns to Broncos practice Thursday
Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon (hip) returned to practice on Thursday.
The Broncos essentially gave Gordon a maintenance day on Wednesday, similar to last week. He should be fine for Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gordon and Javonte Williams both saw 11 touches last week, but the veteran was out-gained by the rookie 86-43. That performance may provoke the Broncos to give Williams more touches moving forward, which wouldn't bode well for Gordon's outlook.
numberFire's models project Gordon for 14.3 touches and 11.3 FanDuel points on Sunday. Williams is projected for 14.1 touches and 11.1 FanDuel points. The Raiders are allowing the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season.
