Rashod Bateman activated for Ravens, expected to make debut
Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Rashod Bateman has been activated from injured reserve.
Bateman is expected to make his NFL debut on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Chargers. Sammy Watkins has been ruled out with a hamstring injury, so the first-round rookie could see a larger role than the Ravens may have initially anticipated. Bateman's activation will likely lead to less opportunities for Devin Duvernay and Miles Boykin moving forward, but it could help open up Baltimore's passing attack even more for Lamar Jackson and primary pass-catchers Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews.
numberFire's models currently project Bateman for 5.4 targets, 3.3 receptions, and 41.5 yards in Week 6. The Chargers are allowing the fifth-fewest Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points per play and the second-fewest FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season.
