Giants' Saquon Barkley (ankle) out for Week 6
The New York Giants have ruled out running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) for their Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Barkley suffered one of the unluckiest ankle sprains in recent NFL memory in Week 5, so it's no surprise that he's inactive for Week 6. The team has sounded optimistic about his health, though, and he avoided being placed on the injured reserve, so we may see him return in the next couple of weeks.
Without Barkley in the lineup, the Giants seem prepared to lean heavily on offseason acquisition Devontae Booker, who has a $5,900 salary on FanDuel in Week 6. Booker handled all of the running back touches in Week 5 after Barkley's injury and was signed to a surprisingly large contract in the offseason. Our models project him to score 11 fantasy points against a stingy Rams defense.
