Giants' Kenny Golladay (knee) sitting for Week 6
The New York Giants have officially ruled out wide receiver Kenny Golladay for their Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Giants have had some brutal injury luck in 2021, especially in their receiver corps. Golladay hyperextended his knee in the team's Week 5 loss to the Dallas Cowboys and will miss at least Week 6 while he recovers. The team has not placed him on the injured reserve, though, so he will hopefully return sooner rather than later.
While Golladay will sit out today's contest, his teammates Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton each appear ready to return this week from their hamstring injuries. That duo plus Week 4 breakout and 2021 NFL Draft first-round pick Kadarius Toney should give quarterback Daniel Jones plenty of options to throw to against the Rams.
