Darius Slayton (hamstring) practicing Wednesday for Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
Slayton was close to playing last week before being ruled out for a third straight game. Kadarius Toney (ankle) and Kenny Golladay (knee) could both be out Week 7, so Slayton's return would be a plus for the offense. He totaled 119 yards on 13 targets in the first two games of the season. Dante Pettis may not be as involved as last week if Slayton does return.
Slayton is currently the WR44 in numberFire's Week 7 fantasy rankings and he has a $5,500 salary on FanDuel this week. Among all receivers with double-digit targets this season, Slayton is 29th in yards per route run (2.02). The Panthers are allowing the fifth-fewest Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points per play in the league.
