Dallas Goedert (illness) still idle for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (illness) did not practice on Thursday.
The Eagles activated Goedert from the COVID-19 list on Thursday, but he apparently didn't feel well enough to practice. Goedert will hopefully be able to practice on Friday and be good to go for Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is in line for a much larger role moving forward after the Eagles traded away Zach Ertz last week. In the last five games that Goedert played without Ertz, he scored twice and averaged 6.6 targets, 4.2 receptions, and 53.0 yards.
Ertz played 88.5% of the snaps and ran a route on 73.6% of Jalen Hurts' dropbacks in Week 6 without Goedert, potentially forecasting the role that Goedert will have moving forward. He is the TE7 in numberFire's weekly fantasy rankings and our models project Goedert for 6.1 targets. The Raiders are allowing the sixth-most FanDuel points per game to the tight end position this season.
