Chargers' Austin Ekeler (hip) will play in Week 8
Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (hip) confirmed to ESPN that he will play in the team's Week 8 game against the New England Patriots.
Ekeler came up on the Chargers' injury report late in the week with a hip injury, but it never seemed very serious. The running back himself confirmed that he would be active for Sunday's game despite his questionable tag on the team's final injury report.
Ekeler has an $8,700 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 15.9 fantasy points against a Patriots defense that has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards (416) to opposing running backs this season.
