No timeline yet for Falcons' Calvin Ridley (personal) to return
Adam Schefter reports that, per Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith, there is no update regarding the possible return of wide receiver Calvin Ridley (personal) to the team.
Ridley is technically eligible to come off of the non-football injury list this week, but according to Smith the team has no update on the timeline for the star receiver's return. Ridley stepped away from football to take care of his mental health with the support of his team and teammates.
The Falcons' offense has relied heavily on Cordarrelle Patterson and Kyle Pitts since Ridley's departure, and will need to rely on Pitts even more heavily while Patterson recovers from a sprained ankle. Pitts is averaging 6.3 targets, 3 catches, and 41 yards per game since Ridley's departure, however, and should be considered a back-end TE1 for fantasy until he become more consistent.
