Antonio Brown (ankle, heel) unlikely to return for Buccaneers in Week 13
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle, heel) is not expected to play in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons, per head coach Bruce Arians.
Brown has been inactive since injuring his ankle in Week 6 and Arians added that he is also dealing with a heel issue. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski will keep soaking up the majority of targets in the Buccaneers' offense. Tyler Johnson should continue working as the third receiver.
The Falcons have the sixth-worst pass defense in numberFire's schedule-adjusted power rankings. Godwin and Evans are both averaging 6.3 targets per game over the last three weeks since the Buccaneers' bye.
