Rapoport: Davis Mills expected to start for Texans Week 14
Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills is expected to start in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Taylor suffered a wrist injury on Sunday and was replaced by Mills. He is undergoing an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury, but per Rapoport, Taylor is considered week-to-week and the Texans expect Mills to start. Mills started in place of Taylor from Weeks 3-8 and targeted Brandin Cooks more than twice as much as any other Texans player.
Mills is averaging 11.4 FanDuel points as a starter this season and the Texans are facing a Seahawks team in Week 14 that is allowing the eighth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position. Cooks is leading the Texans with a 28.6% target share with Mills as the starting quarterback.
