Rapoport: Joe Burrow to play for Bengals through finger injury
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow plans to play through the finger injury he suffered in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Burrow injured his finger early in the game on Sunday, but he played through it and finished with 24-of-40 attempts for 300 yards with a touchdown and a pair of picks. The injury appears to primarily be about pain-tolerance and will not require surgery, so Burrow should be able to tough it out for Week 14 versus the San Francisco 49ers.
Burrow scored 18.6 FanDuel points in Week 13 and recorded negative-1.4 Passing Net Expected Points, which is eighth-worst among starting quarterbacks this week.
