Davis Mills taking over for Texans rest of season
Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills will be the starter for the rest of the season, head coach David Culley announced.
"He gives us the best chance to win," Culley claimed. Tyrod Taylor suffered a wrist injury last weekend, but the Texans' decision to start Mills is due to Taylor's poor performance since returning from an early-season hamstring injury. Brandin Cooks drew more than twice as many targets as any other Texans player from Weeks 3-8 with Mills as the starter. The Texans are playing the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14 on Sunday.
Cooks is leading the Texans with a 28.6% target share with Mills as the starting quarterback. Mills is the QB26 in numberFire's Week 14 fantasy rankings and he has a $6,600 salary on FanDuel.
