Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) ready to play for Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (ribs, toe) said he will play in the Wild Card game against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday.
Edmonds reportedly sounds confident that he will play after sitting out Week 18. James Conner (ribs) is expected to be a game-time decision, and Edmonds will be asked to play a workhorse role if he's ruled out.
numberFire's models currently project Conner for 13.1 opportunities and Edmonds for 12.2 touches in the Wild Card Round. The Rams have the eighth-best run defense in the league, per numberFire's advanced metrics.
