49ers' Elijah Mitchell (knee) good to go for Divisional Round
San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell is officially available for Saturday's Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers.
Mitchell opened the week with a limited practice, but he was upgraded on Wednesday and closed out with back-to-back full sessions. The sixth-round rookie will lead the 49ers' backfield again on Saturday at Lambeau Field. He rushed 27 times for 96 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers' Wild Card win over the Dallas Cowboys, and he has carried the ball over 20 times in six straight appearances.
numberFire's models project Mitchell for 13.8 FanDuel points on 18.5 carries and 1.9 catches with 13.7 FanDuel points against the Packers. According to numberFire's power rankings, the Packers have the third-worst run defense in the NFL.
