Rapoport: Rams' Odell Beckham suffered apparent torn ACL in Super Bowl victory

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham is believed to have suffered a torn ACL injury in the team's Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

What It Means:

Beckham, who was off to an explosive start in his first ever Super Bowl appearance, went down with a non-contact injury in the second quarter and was unable to return to the contest. He's set to hit free agency this offseason, meaning an ACL injury (which can often take up to a year to fully rehabilitate) could be a devastating outcome to the Super Bowl champion.

Beckham's 2021 season took off after he parted ways with the Cleveland Browns, scoring five regular season touchdowns with the Rams in eight games after scoring none with the Browns through six games. He caught fire in the playoffs, too, catching 21 of 26 targets for 288 yards and 2 scores over the Rams' four playoff games.
