Packers' Aaron Rodgers narrowing down choices for 2022 destination
Current Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reportedly narrowed down his desired 2022 landing spots to the Tennessee Titans, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Denver Broncos.
A return to the Packers is still a possibility as well, but it would appear for now that Rodgers has set his sights on the AFC for the 2022 season. Rodgers' 2021 extension with the Packers essentially implied that the back-to-back MVP would be able to select his 2022 destination via trade, and while the Packers recently stated that they have had no trade talks with other teams yet, Rodgers himself appears to be kicking the tires with other options.
Both the Steelers and the Broncos could take the leap to legitimate playoff contenders by adding Rodgers in the offseason, with both teams offering strong pass-catching groups and defenses, while the Titans just finished the 2021 season with the top seed in the AFC. With free agency approaching quickly, Rodgers' decision could shape the entire free agent landscape.
