Cordarrelle Patterson signs with Falcons on two-year deal
Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson signed a two-year deal to remain with the team on Saturday.
Patterson will remain with Atlanta on a two-year deal worth $10.5 million. The 31-year-old will stay with the Falcons following his breakout season in 2021, which saw him set career highs in multiple metrics operating in a dual-threat role. With Calvin Ridley suspended and Russell Gage now in Tampa Bay, Patterson may have an opportunity to see even more targets next season.
In 16 games last season, Patterson recorded 153 carries for 618 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns, with 53 receptions on 69 targets for 548 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns.
