Cameron Heyward signs six-year deal with Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Cameron Heyward to a six-year deal worth $59.25 million.
Heyward was a first-round selection for the Steelers in 2011, 31st overall. He has not missed a single game in his four seasons and posted a career-high 7.5 sacks last season.
Our projections expect Heyward to tally 54 tackles and 7.5 sacks this year. Based on his performance and team composition according to our algorithms, Heyward compares favorably to Jason Taylor in the 2009 season. In 2009, Taylor secured 7.0 sacks and 33.0 solo tackles.
