Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said last week that he expected McLaurin to be in attendance for minicamp, but the contract-year receiver apparently intends to hold out while seeking "a contract extension consistent with other comparable WRs that recently signed." The 2019 third-round pick led Washington in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in each of his first three seasons in the league.

McLaurin accounted for 28.1% of Washington's receiving yards and 24.3% of the team's targets in 2021 while averaging 10.3 FanDuel points per game.
