Commanders' Jahan Dotson having excellent offseason
Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera said that 2022 first-round pick Jahan Dotson "has done all the things you need to do to feel good about (him)" this offseason, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.
There have been consistent, glowing reports about Dotson out of Washington this offseason, and Rivera's full comment captures all of that praise: "Very precise route runner, excellent hands, very sharp, very smart young man, hard worker -- has done all the things you need to do to feel good about (him)." Dotson was Penn State's top wideout in each of the past two seasons and shined at that program each year despite playing alongside other NFL talent.
Dotson could become Washington's top option if teammate Terry McLaurin continues to hold out into the season, but for now our models project him as the team's WR2. He is currently the fantasy WR85 in numberFire's models, but could greatly outproduce that projection if he locks in a starting job.
