Chris Godwin (knee) cleared for Buccaneers' camp
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee) has been cleared for the beginning of training camp.
Godwin was expected to begin training camp on the PUP list after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL on January 3, so this is an encouraging sign. However, it remains to be seen whether Godwin will be available for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. Russell Gage and Julio Jones stand to be the primary beneficiaries if Godwin is hobbled to start the season. The Buccaneers signed Jones to a one-year deal on Tuesday.
Godwin averaged 1.5 FanDuel points per target and 13.8 FanDuel points per game last season while registering 98 receptions for 1,103 yards and 5 touchdowns on 127 targets.
