Despite suffering a thumb injury on August 1st, Smith is on track to suit up for Minnesota's divisional regular season contest against the Green Bay Packers after catching passes recently. “It feels good. I’m getting back in the groove of things," said Smith when asked about his current condition. "I’ve been out a few weeks now, so just getting back into football conditioning.”
