Ken Walker (hernia) does not practice Friday for Seattle
Seattle Mariners running back Ken Walker did not practice Friday ahead of the team's Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos.
Walker continues to deal with the effects of the hernia he suffered earlier in August. The rookie rusher from Michigan State hasn't practiced this week, and while the Seahawks do play on Monday - giving him an extra day to recover - it seem as though Walker's NFL career may start with an inactive tag in Week 1. Rashaad Penny, Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas would handle the workload in the backfield should Walker sit.
Our models project Walker for 669.14 rushing yards and 5.26 touchdowns this season, even with the assumption he sits out versus Denver. They also ballpark him for 22.48 catches for 154.30 yards and 0.79 scores.
