Allen Lazard (ankel) officially inactive for Packers in Week 1
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard has been ruled inactive for the team's Week 1 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Lazard wasn't expected to play as he deals with an ankle injury - perhaps he'll be ready for Week 2 versus Chicago. For now, Aaron Rodgers' top options split out wide will be Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson.
In 15 games last season, Lazard had 40 catches for 513 yards and 8 touchdowns.
