Steelers' Najee Harris (foot) "should be good to go" for Week 2
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (foot) "should be good to go" for the team's Week 2 game against the New England Patriots.
Harris missed the overtime period of the Steelers' Week 1 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals when he appeared to possibly reaggravate the foot injury he dealt with in the offseason, but his X-rays following the game came back negative. We'll have to monitor his status in practices this week, but for now it would seem that Harris managed to avoid a serious injury.
The Bengals did a great job of containing Harris on the ground in Week 1, limiting the back to just 23 yards on his 10 carries. He did manage to salvage his day for fantasy by adding a touchdown and 3 yards on 2 receptions. If he were to miss any time, Jaylen Warren seems to be the next man up in the Steelers' backfield.
