Packers' Christian Watson (hamstring) not expected to play in Week 3
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) is unlikely to play in the team's Week 3 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Adam Schefter reports.
What It Means:
Watson has been banged up to begin his NFL career, missing most of the team's preseason program while recovering from a knee injury before picking up a hamstring injury a couple weeks into the season. The Packers' wide receiver corps should remain an inconsistent rotation in Week 3, with or without Watson in the lineup.
Despite featuring two future Hall of Famers in Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, tonight's game between the Packers and the Bucs is tied for the third-lowest projected total on the slate with 41.5 points. Our models give the Bucs the slight edge tonight, with a 58.7% win probability.
