Lions' D.J. Chark (ankle) downgraded on Thursday report
Detroit Lions wide receiver D.J. Chark (ankle) was downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday's practice report.
Chark is trending in the wrong direction for Week 4 after he was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday. Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) has been absent for both practices, so Chark could be the Lions' No. 1 receiver if he's available. Otherwise, Josh Reynolds (ankle) and Kalif Raymond would likely start in two-wide sets. T.J. Hockenson (foot) is another candidate for more targets on Sunday versus the Seattle Seahawks if the Lions are short on receivers.
Chark is currently the WR43 in numberFire's Week 4 rankings. Our models project him for 3.5 receptions and 44.9 yards on 6.3 targets. The Seahawks are allowing the seventh-fewest FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season, compared to fourth-most against running backs. To Chark's credit, he is 13th in the league in air yards per game (109.3).
