David Njoku (ankle) ruled out for Browns in Week 8
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku will not play Monday in the team's Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Originally given a timeline of 2-5 weeks to recover from his high-ankle sprain, Njoku held out hope that he'd be able to suit up immediately on Monday Night Football. However, that was not the case, as he has officially been ruled out and will miss his first game of the season. With Njoku sidelined, Harrison Bryant is the only fully healthy tight end on the roster.
In 7 games this season, Njoku has 34 catches on 42 targets for 418 yards and a touchdown.
