Brandin Cooks (hip/wrist) back at Texans practice Thursday
Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks (hip/wrist) is practicing on Thursday.
Cooks sat out Wednesday's practice for typical maintenance. He returned from a one-game absence last week and caught 4 passes for 37 yards on 7 targets. The volume was on par with Cooks' season average, but it was the veteran's second-lowest target share of the season (18.7%). The Texans are taking on the Washington Commanders in Week 11 on Sunday.
Cooks has a $6,100 salary on FanDuel's Main slate and he is the WR23 in numberFire's Week 11 PPR rankings. Our models project him for 6.8 targets, 4.1 receptions, and 51.4 yards. The Commanders have the No. 15 pass defense and top-rated run defense in our advanced team metrics, possibly inviting Davis Mills and the Texans to throw it more on Sunday.
