Allen Robinson (foot) will not return for Rams in 2022
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said Sunday that wide receiver Allen Robinson (foot) will not return in 2022.
Robinson was dealing with a foot injury during the week leading up to the Rams' Week 12 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and will now undergo season-ending surgery to repair the injury. His first season with the defending Super Bowl champions was a disappointing one, resulting in 33 catches for 339 yards and 3 touchdowns in 10 games.
With Robinson and Cooper Kupp out of the lineup, Van Jefferson appeared to take hold of the WR1 gig in Week 12; he was the intended target on 7 of Bryce Perkins' 23 attempts and caught 3 of those for 29 yards and a touchdown. He'll be worth stashing in season-long leagues if Matthew Stafford (neck) returns this season.
