Panthers' Shaq Thompson involved in car crash
Carolina Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson was involved in a car crash Sunday morning in North Carolina.
What It Means:
Thompson's car crashed head-on with another vehicle that was driven by former Duke quarterback Anthony Boone, sending Boone to the hospital. Thompson is being charged with "driving left of center," and alcohol was said to be involved, though not a factor in the crash. Either Thompson was below the legal limit or alcohol wasn't a factor on his end. Thompson was not injured in the crash.
